- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) that will result in an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a minimum value of $5 million and a maximum value of $25 million. The forthcoming RFP is for glass partitions of various sizes to be delivered to airports within the CONUS and OCONUS. At a minimum, potential offerors must have the capability to fulfill orders of 130 glass partitions of various sizes and the associated framework components to any airport within fourteen (14) business days in CONUS and thirty (30) days OCONUS. This acquisition will be conducted under FAR Parts 12 and 15; the applicable NAICS code is 337215 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is 100% set aside for 8(a) small business concerns. This presolicitation notice is not a RFP. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this presolicitation notice. Phone calls and emails will not be accepted or returned in response to this presolicitation notice. Potential offerors are responsible for checking the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov for any update(s) to this notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for a potential offeror's inability to access the document(s) posted at the referenced website. To obtain automatic notifications of updates to this notice, you must log into www.fbo.gov and add this presolicitation to your Watchlist. If you would like to list your firm as an interested vendor, you must click the "Add Me To Interested Vendors" button in the listing for this presolicitation. The RFP will be issued on or about January 24, 2011. The www.fbo.gov website will be the only site for downloading the forthcoming solicitation and any amendments. In order for contractors to conduct business with TSA, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All potential offerors must be CCR registered prior to receiving an award; active registration must be maintained during the performance of the award and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.ccr.gov. Prior to proposing, is it preferred that vendors complete the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA). To do so requires CCR registration, including a Marketing Partner ID Number (MPIN). Instructions may be obtained, and required information may be entered, at www.orca.bpn.gov. If you ARE NOT ORCA registered, you will need to complete and provide FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, a provision which will be provided in the forthcoming solicitation.
