- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a total small business set-aside. This solicitation number is RFQ1932287 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334510 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is a firm fixed price type. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) on behalf of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) has a requirement for a high-density, high-quality quantitative DC-coupled EEG system. NINDS will use the EEG system to study EEG waves from human subjects undertaking cognitive experiments. The system must have the following specifications: Max number of channels: > 128 Reference type: Unipolar Bandwidth: DC - 1000 Hz Input Noise: 10 Gohm Max Sampling Freq: > 2000 Hz Operating range: > 300 mV Offerors will be evaluated on their ability to meet technical specifications. Offers will also be evaluated on best value in relation to price. Quotations are to be sent electronically to Korriise LaRoche, Contract Specialist at larochek@mail.nih.gov. The following FAR provisions shall apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items.
