Description
PR No: 0040327084. This solicitation will contain 1 NSN for an Arm Assembly, Torque, to be used on the T-38 Aircraft. This solicitation is for award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The NSN and quantities are as follows: NSN: 1620-00-949-0425 Part Number: 3-40646-1 Source: Northrop Grumman, CAGE 0JRC1 Quantity: 360 Each Delivery: FOB Origin, Inspection/Acceptance at Origin, 292 days ARO. Surge requirements do not apply. This is not a small business set aside. Other than full and open competition applies to this requirement. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is on or about January 25, 2011. This item contains an Export Control Technical Data Package and has been identified as an Air Force Critical Safety Item. The anticipated award date is April 15, 2011. This requirement will be solicited as a letter Request for Proposal against Northrop Grumman's Basic Ordering Agreement FA8200-05-G-9001. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Small Business Subcontracting Plan is required. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS on or about January 25, 2011 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. Choose the RFP you wish to download.
