Description

Notice of Proposed Contract Actions IAW FAR 12 and 13, RFP VA-259-11-RP-0072 The Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service, VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS), Denver, CO and VA Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) contemplate an award of a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Quantity Contract for Autopsy Assistance Services. The proposed contract will be issued for Autopsy Assistance and Drainage/Disposal of Human Tissue. The period of performance for this contract will be one year, with four one (1) year option periods from date of award, which is estimated for April 1, 2011. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on best value. The following factors listed in descending order of important shall be used to evaluate offers; Technical, Past Performance, Price, and Veterans Involvement. Request for Proposal VA-259-11-RP-0072 will be available for download at https://www.fbo.gov on or about February 2, 2011. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be allowed. Offers are to be received at the VA Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Ave., Suite 900, Glendale, CO 80246, no later than February 24, 2011, 4:00 PM Mountain Time. The NAICS Code is 621511. Additional Requirements: Contractors shall be required to be compliant with all state and federal regulations, and the services must be in accordance with VA Central Office policy and directives for autopsy and residency support. Also, all prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of this contract
