- Description
- The Togus VA Medical Center, Augusta, Maine intends to negotiate a construction sole source contract with Mammoth Fire Alarms, 176 Walker St., Lowell, MA 01854. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is to obtain the provision and install services of a King Fisher RF Fire Alarm System under the authority of FAR 6.303-1. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed-price contract for the Fire Alarm Services. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 and applicable size standard is $14M. All proposals received by 12:00 noon EST on January 18, 2011 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
