THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. THE VA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS OF ANY KIND. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation or Request for Proposal. It is the intent of the VISN 7 VAMC to use this for market research purposes only. If a formal solicitation is released, it will be via the Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov) The Department of Veteran Affairs, Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS), Montgomery and Tuskegee, is performing market research to determine if there are a sufficient number of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) vendors to provide Ambulance Transport Service. The NAICS code is 621910 with a size standard of $7.0 million dollars. This means that businesses furnishing the services described below, with average annual revenue under $7 million dollars are considered small businesses. You must have proper business size; Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), accessed via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All information provided will become property of the Department of Veterans Affairs and will not be returned. The work required is explained detail in the attached Statement of Work. Potential vendors should provide; at a minimum, company name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, point of contact and type of business (large, small, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business or Veteran Owned Business). All interested parties must respond with short synopsis of their capabilities in writing, along with company name, address and telephone number this office, preferably by e-mail by 1500hrs January 21st, 2011.
