- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: Chrysalis II UHP Nitrogen Generator, Model NUHP-BORA 500-60, Qty 2 and Model HYC-HPNM250 Hydrogen Generator, Qty 3. This requirement is sole source to manufacturer Chrysalis Scientific Technologies. Their authorized dealer/rep is Matheson TRI-GAS Inc, 166 Keystone Drive, Montgomeryville, PA 18936; due to Chrysalis is the only membrane-type hydrogen generator that provides > 99.9999+ percent purity. The Chrysalis BORA 500 nitrogen generator provides 99.999 percent purity and has a small footprint and weight due to its patented DUAL-STEP Pressure Swing Adsorption technology. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. Any firms believing that they can provide the Chrysalis Scientific Technologies Nitrogen and Hydrogen Generators referenced above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later the date posted on this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the Nitrogen and Hydrogen Generators without causing programmatic hardship.
