- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, Rhode Island intends to purchase high performance workstations, qty. 10 in support of various ASW advanced development efforts related to internal R&D and several sponsored programs from IWS5A, PMS-415 and ONR. This procurement will allow continued independent government assessment and evaluation of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and Torpedo Defense software / system components delivered for surface ship combatants. The specifications of the systems identified in this procurement must be met to work consistently with data and processing associated with the above mentioned efforts. A firm fixed price type purchase order is anticipated. NAICS Code 334111, Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This requirement is 100% small business set aside. Further details will be provided in Solicitation #N66604-11-Q-1346, which is anticipated to be released on or about 01/14/11. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) and ORCA (http://orca.bpn.gov/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the websites. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Required delivery is 30 days ARO, F.O.B.
