- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR F-15 Components F-15 Aircraft Department of the Air Force, Air Force Material Command, OO-ALC/GHGJ PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION This is a Source Sought Synopsis announcement, market research for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. This market research is being conducted to identify potential sources possessing the engineering and manufacturing knowledge for these F-15 unique components used on F-15 aircraft. No proposal is requested or accepted from this synopsis. This is not a solicitation for proposal or no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The Department of the Air Force Material Command, OO-ALC/GHGJ, Hill AFB is conducting a market survey for the following F-22 unique components: National Stock Number Part Number NSN Part Number Name 1377-01-166-4265ES 6036300 Initiator, Internal Canopy Jettison 1377-01-069-7776ES 7829332-10 SMDC Dord Set 1377-00-261-5371ES 21084-7 Cartridge, Air Refueling Receptacle 1377-01-202-9195ES 2404800-1 Cartridge, Canopy Remover 1377-01-069-7777ES 7829332-30 SMDC Cord Set 1377-01-333-9317ES 7829332-50 SMDC Cord Set 1377-00-261-5371ES 21084-7 Cartridge, Air Refueling Receptacle INSTRUCTION (1) Relevant Experience to include performing engineering, manufacturing, inspection, and testing of similar Cartridge Actuated and Propellant Actuated Devices in the last 5 years. (2) Company profile will include the following: A. Number of employees. B. Office Location C. CAGE Code D. DUNS number E. Small Business designation/status claimed No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The government has very limited technical data to provide to potential offerors. Offerors must possess access to all appropriate data. Universal Propulsion Company, Fairfield, California has the capability and drawings for F-15 unique components and the government does not own or have the right to use the data required to manufacture this device. Interested offerors shall respond to this Source Sought Synopsis no later than 3:00PM 31 Jan 2011.
