Description
Request for Quotes This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for a cathodic protection transformer per the attached RFQ. The solicitation number is WE133M-11-RQ-0230, and is issued as a RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40. This action is solicited on an unrestricted basis, for NAICS code 334512. See the attached RFQ for a description of the item to be provided. The required delivery date is 06APR2011. The transformer will be delivered to the NOAA Ship FAIRWEATHER at 1801 Fairview Ave E, SEattle, WA 98134. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made on a Firm Fixed Price basis, to the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible Offerror. All Quotes are to be accompanied by a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition (attached). Any additional clauses that apply to this contract are marked. All responses are due to the person/address below by 12:00 Noon PST on 24JAN2011. Responses may be mailed, faxed, or emailed.
