Description

National Security Technologies, LLC is currently seeking a Contractor for the United States Department of Energy is currently seeking qualified suppliers for the following Macro Boxes: Specifications for Macro Boxes •1. Type 7AF Macro Boxes •2. Max Gross Weight = 12,000 lb •3. Exterior Dimensions: 91" L X 66 1/2" W X 46 15/16" H (+/- 1" tolerances) •4. Lined with HDPE that seals to ensure no leach ability •5. Risers equiped for forklift handling on long side of box and accessible from both sides •6. Must be sealable with the use of a macro encapsulation control unit. •7. Integral gasket seal for closure provided and in good condition •8. Manufacturer's Certificate of Compliance certifying containers meet the following reuqirements: •a) 7A Type A (49 CFR 173.410, 173.412, and 173.465) •b) NNSSWAC, Rev. 8, Section 3.2.5 - Compressive strength requirement of 3,375 lbs/sq. ft. •9. Manufacturer provided documentation that welding was performed by AWS or ASME qualified welders in accordance with AWS D1.3 welding procedures, and that welds were inspected by an AWS Certified Wekding Inspector •10. The Subcontractor shall implement and maintain a Quality Assurance (QA) Program equivalent to one of the following Quality Assurance Criteria and Requirements: •· DOE Order 414.1C, Attachment 2, Contractor Requirements Document for all work activities, or •· ISO 9001:2000 or later for non-nuclear and non-critical work activities, along with the standard S/CI clause. An audit of the subcontractors Quality Assurance Program may be required prior to award.
