Description
Camera (Detector) This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. NAICS Code: 333315 Size Standard: 500 employees FSC: 67 The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division is seeking potential sources, pricing and scheduling for the below Salient Characteristics. Detector (Camera) Salient Characteristics Below is a list of characteristics that meets the Government ™s minimum requirements. The Government will evaluate all offers that meet or exceed the below characteristics. CAMERA oThe camera must be capable of capturing more than 7500 frames per second at a resolution of 1280 pixels by 800 pixels or more than 1,000,000 frames at a resolution of 128 pixels by 8 pixels with a minimum recording time of up to 3.0 seconds at 12 bit sampling and full screen resolution (depending on camera memory). oThe camera must be capable of using at least four different recording rates during a single recording event. oThe user must be able to select the number of frames that can be acquired prior or post to a trigger event. oThe camera must have a three hundred nanosecond (300 ns) electronic shutter speed and 32 gigabytes of onboard memory. This will provide the necessary resolution and speed to accurately document events in our energetic testing as well as blast testing. oThe camera must include an external trigger system (acoustic, ir, etc.) integrated in the camera system oThe camera must include a ruggedized housing for storage of the camera, controller, lenses and other accessories CONTROLLER oThe camera network controllers must meet the requirements of MIL-STD-810F, Method 516.4, Procedure IV and Method 514.4, Procedure I. This means they must be ruggedized to preclude damage from wind, rain, dirt and dust, and rough handling when being used on the test ranges. oThe controllers must be portable, yet sufficiently powerful to process the large amounts of data generated by the camera. They must be Microsoft Windows based, have at least a 2 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, and at least a 250GB hard drive.The camera operating software and drivers must be pre-installed on the controllers. oThe camera controller (computer) must be TPM 1.2 compliant, run Windows XP professional or other Navy approved operating systems, and must not contain any wireless networking options (802.11, bluetooth or Wifi) LENSES oThe system must include Nikon (or equal) bayonet fittings oThe system must include Canon (or equal) bayonet fittings with an integrated lens control for Canon EF (or equal) type lenses oThe system must include the following commercially available lenses in the system: EOS-MOUNT 28-200MM F3.5 CANON 6470A006 INFINITY K2/SC LONG DIST. MICROSCOPE SGLE PORT MAIN BODY 1X, FOCUSER, TUBES & MTG CLAMP INFINITY K2/SC LONG DISTANCE MICROSCOPE OBJECTIVE, CF-1/B 1.5x-2.8x; 457-225mm W.D. INFINITY K2/SC LONG DISTANCE MICROSCOPE OBJECTIVE, CF-2 2.5x-4.0x; 214-140mm W.D. INFINITY K2/SC LONG DISTANCE MICROSCOPE OBJECTIVE, CF-3 4.0x-5.8x; 125-90mm W.D. INFINITY K2/SC LONG DISTANCE MICROSCOPE OBJECTIVE, CF-4 8.0x-10.7x; 63-51mm W.D. All interested sources shall provide a company brochure or list of specifications, organization name, address, a point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number, and CAGE Code. Interested sources shall also specify if they are the manufacturer of the product.
