- Directions to the Ronald Reagan Building, Pavilion Room General Services Administration Industry Day and Small Business Participation Event for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Technology Integration Program (TIP) Thursday, January 27, 2011 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center Pavilion Room 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20004 The U.S. General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service, Assisted Acquisition Service announces the re-procurement of the Department of Homeland Security Technology Integration Program (DHS TIP) requirement via the Alliant Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). This Task Order will support the consolidated DHS component agencies in a new headquarters complex at St. Elizabeths. This procurement will acquire the services of a contractor to design, procure, configure, install, test, accept and maintain seamless, integrated transport infrastructure that is flexible, modern, efficient, diverse, redundant, and cost-effective. The infrastructure will support information technology, telecommunications, security, and building management systems. An Industry Day and Small Business Participation Event will be held on January 27, 2011 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, Pavilion Room, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20004. The event is from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Government will provide a presentation summarizing the DHS TIP procurement to Alliant Contract Holders and small businesses seeking subcontracting opportunities at the Industry Day. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions about the requirements as well as networking opportunities for large and small business owners. Alliant Contract holders that are interested in attending this event should register via email to DHS.TIP@gsa.gov. Additionally, all Alliant Contract holders are invited to set up an information table on subcontracting opportunities. One table will be provided per Alliant Contractor (6 feet X 30 inches). Additionally, power supply and space is limited, so please plan accordingly. Any items being brought into the building will have to be screened by security; larger items and trucks are discouraged, as they will require additional screening by the Washington Navy Yard. Table set up will begin at 9:00 am and continue to 12:00 pm. Please coordinate your company's response so that we do not receive contradictory information. Small Businesses interested in attending this event should also respond via email at DHS.TIP@gsa.gov to register. The list of registered small businesses will be shared with interested Alliant Contract Holders. Attached to this post are directions to the Pavilion Room. Any requests for additional information can be emailed to DHS.TIP@gsa.gov.
