NSN: 2840-01-584-7668 NY.OEM Code: 07482. PN: 9663M22P13.Description: Rotor component that attaches turbine blades to rotor.Dimensions are approximately 35.6140 inches long; 35.6140 inches wide;4.8550 inches high; 46.5 pounds weight. Material is INCONEL 718.Quantity: 70 each; Range-Minimum 18 each/Maximum 105 each.Destination: FB2039, Tinker AFB OK.Delivery Schedule: 10 each per month beginning on or before 30 MAR2012.This part has been designated a high reliability part under a formalreliability program. Probability of failure would be unacceptable fromthe standpoint of safety of personnel and/or equipment. The cognizantengineering activity has determined that data to define and controlreliability limits cannot be obtained nor is it possible to draftadequate specifications for this purpose. General Electric (07482) iscurrently the only approved source for this acquisition.All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, orquotation, which shall be considered by the agency.One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free TradeAgreements.An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interestedparties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8253. DO NOT CALLTHIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS.Based upon market research, the Government is not using policiescontained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies. However, interested parties mayidentify to the contracting officer their interest and capability tosatisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15days of this notice.Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Request forWritten Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxed requestsreceived directly from the requestors are acceptable. The anticipatedaward date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of this notice.
