Description

The Government is seeking a Contractor to provide wetland restoration for Cutthroat Seep WRP located at Archbold Research Station in Highlands County, which includes clearing and grubbing; structure removal; excavation; earthfill (construction of ditch plugs); installing geocell low water crossing; and seeding and mulching. This is a sealed bid procurement. The government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation before or after the closing date. All solicitation documents will be available in electronic format at www.fbo.gov. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration data base to be eligible for award. The dollar range for the project is $25,000 to $100,000 and the estimated time for completion is 75 calendar days. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990 and the SBA size is $31 million. Solicitations will be posted on FedBizopps on or about February 3, 2011 and are due March 7, 2011at 2:30pm local time. Faxed bids will not be accepted. A MANDATORY pre-bid site visit will be required. Information of the site visit will be posted in the solicitation. THIS IS A FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. All responsible, responsive bids will be considered.
