Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Kansas City District Corps of Engineer plans to issue a combined synopsis/ solicitation for Park Attendant at Melvern Lake. The contractor shall provide labor, material, and equipment as specified to perform park attendant duties at the Coeur d` Alene Park. Solicitation will be for the 2011 season, with one option. An award will not be made to an offeror who intends to sub-contract the work. The contractor shall perform the specified tasks listed in Section C-5 of the Performance Work Statement or any elsewhere stated in the solicitation. This requirement will be a total small business set-a-side (100%). The small business standard is $7,000,000.00. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) for this solicitation is 7996 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 721211. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-47. It is imperative that each offeror follow the Instructions: NOTICE TO OFFERERS or ELSEWHERE in the solicitation. This section and elsewhere in the solicitation outline SPECIFIC GUIDELINES to be considered responsive. The period of performance is from May 1, 2011 through September 30, 2011. During the service period the Government will provide to the Contractor the following amenities utility hook-ups, campsite for Contractor trailer, sewer, storage building, picnic table, refuse container, and a small garden plot. Park Attendant services shall be required 6 days each week with Wednesday being the regular day off. All bidders/offeror must have their Request for Quotation submitted and received by the Corp of Engineers by 15 February 2011 at 15:00 or 3:00P.M (CST). All interested contractors must download the detailed solicitation, performance work statement, statement of experience, past performance questionnaire, and bid/proposal schedule from this internet site.
