Description

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) intends to award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements" to RightStar Systems, 1951 Kidwell Drive, Herndon, VA 22182. The proposed contract action is for the continuation of BMC Remedy Level 1 support. BMC Remedy is a proprietary product of BMC Software, Inc. RightStar Systems is the only vendor authorized by BMC to provide L1 support for the USMS. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. There is no solicitation document.
