- This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Quotation (RFQ) R11PS340047 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes and to view all applicable clauses and attachments. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizops.gov at the link provided in this notice or check our website http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This RFQ is issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and is being issued as a small business set-aside; however large businesses are encouraged to quote in the event that responsive small business quotes are not received. For this acquisition, North American Industrial Classification System code is 332911 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-47. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma, Arizona has a requirement for an emergency chlorine valve closure system. Award will be made to the lowest technically acceptable offeror. The RFQ contains the following: a description with quantities, Specifications/ Statement of Work and all applicable clauses and provisions. Hard copies of this RFQ will not be available. Quotes are due on January 31, 2011 at 12 Noon (local time). All responsible sources may submit a quote which, if timely received, shall be considered. Quotes must be submitted electronically and quote documentation is to be submitted via email or fax to the contact information listed elsewhere. Vendors are reminded that they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration to be considered for award. Vendors can register at www.ccr.gov.
