Description
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Competition for Existing Lease Location The VA Northern California Health Care System, Martinez Division currently occupies parcel 162-310-002 of Contra Costa County, CA consisting of approximately 162,914 sf for use as approximately 250 unimproved parking spaces. The existing space is adjacent to the VA Martinez campus located at 150 Muir Road, Martinez, CA. The current lease agreement expires June 30, 2011. VA is conducting a competition for alternative space and will relocate if the VA determines that it is economically advantageous to the government. VA will consider its mission requirements, cost of moving, alterations and other factors when determining whether it should relocate. A lease for up to five (5) years firm term will be considered. To be considered, space must be within the delineated areas as follows: South of Hwy 4 North of or bordering Center Avenue West of Roman Way East of or bordering Center Avenue/Pine Ave Offerors must provide evidence that proposed properties are outside the 100 year flood plain. A market survey of offered properties will be conducted by VA. Interested offerors (owners, developers, brokers, or their legal representatives) shall submit two (2) copies of specific information concerning their properties by mail or e-mail no later than 4:00 PM PST on February 1, 2011 to the following address: Department of Veteran Affairs VA Palo Alto Health Care System Attn: Royce Ng 3801 Miranda Avenue Palo Alto, CA 94304 Tel: 650-849-1904 Email: Royce.Ng@va.gov The Government shall pay no more than the appraised fair market rental value.
