Description
SYNOPSIS: This proposed procurement is set-aside for Small Businesses, NAICS 562111 size standard of $12.0 Million. Contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary. This project is to perform pick-up and removal service(s) of residual waste from the Washington Aqueduct Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant Residuals Processing Facility (RPF). The residual waste being hauled is from the drinking water plant residuals containing no domestic wastewater plant waste. The service will consist of hauling and disposal of two types of residual waste from the Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant Residuals Processing Facility (RPF); Forebay residual and water treatment residual. The contractor will be required to dispose of the waste products at a landfill. The estimated period of performance is 3 Years (One Year Base, 2 Option Years). Additional information in accordance with the Statement of Work is included in the request for quotations bid package. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to dominique.d.melvin@usace.army.mil. Bids can be submitted via mail to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Room 7000, 10 South Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201-2530. Available thru Federal Business Opportunities System The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 3 February 2011, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System To familiarize vendors with the newly released FBO system, please download the Vendor Guide found here. Please note that all Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered Sensitive, But Unclassified Documents, and require users to have a valid MPIN entered in the FBO system to access package. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted.
