Description

The Navy continues to be interested in feedback on the draft solicitation and technical performance specification in areas that would drive cost, increase in schedule or otherwise add requirements that could be eliminated without detrimental impact to performance. As mentioned during the original Industry Day held November 17, 2010, the opportunity for providing feedback can take the form of a written response or be discussed during the one-on-one meetings. These one-on-one meetings need to occur during January 2011 through early February 2011 in order to meet the March 2011 estimated date for release of the formal solicitation. Arrangement for a 2-hour time slot can be made by contacting Mr. Joseph Tannenbaum at joseph.tannenbaum@navy.mil or by calling 202-781-2629. Requests to schedule a one-on-one meeting submitted after January 20, 2011 may not be considered. Guidelines for the one-on-one sessions are attached to this announcement and include a description of how communications will be treated, a more detailed list of areas the Navy is interested in direct feedback, and amplifying details of intended deliverables.
