- Department of the Navy, Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC), is seeking potential sources able to perform and deliver the following services and supplies on board USNS Vessels on the United States East, Gulf and West Coast and/or outside CONUS. This is for MARKET RESEARCH ONLY and does not necessarily constitute an emerging requirement. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. CLIN 0001 through 0011: Annual Self Contained Breathing Service (SCBA) (every twelve months, plus or minus one month) CLINs 0012 through 0022: Visual Inspection and Hydrostatic Test of Cylinders (every three years to five years, plus or minus two months) CLINs 0023 through 0033: Fit Testing (every twelve months, plus or minus one month) CLIN 0034: Emergent Repairs and Upgrades CLIN 0035: Labor-Straight Time (S/T) CLIN 0036: Labor-Overtime (O/T) CLIN 0037: Labor-Premium Time (P/T) CLIN 0038: Labor-Travel Time (T/T) CLIN 0039: Material CLIN 0040: Travel, Per Diem, Air Fare, and Ground Transportation Sources may be large and small business concerns. The Government anticipates a period of performance with a one (1) year base and four (4) 1-year option periods. The Government is researching the following as the minimum needs: Upon issuance of an order(s) the supplier shall provide Annual Self Contained Breathing Services, Visual Inspection and Hydrostatic Test of Cylinders, Fit Testing and Emergent Repairs based on the number of SCBA on various ship classes/ships. The number of SCBA will be specified in each individual order. Only vendors that are able to satisfy the above criteria in one or more location specified should express an interest to the government at this time. Technicians shall be authorized Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) representatives for the system and/or equipment they are servicing. The company must also be approved to certify Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) systems/equipment by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and the United Stated Coast Guard (USCG). The minimum requirements are not subject to change. Vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications (ORCA). Interested parties shall furnish the following minimum information: (a) Name of Company (b) Point of Contact, Telephone Number, Fax Number, Address, and email address (if available) (c) Business standing (i.e. Small, Large, Hub-Zone, Veteran, etc.) (d) Brief summary of company history relative to similar requirement It is requested that interested vendors provide the above information no later than 1200 hours, 4 February 2011.
