Description
NSWC Panama City Division, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit The Parvus Corporation, 3222 S. Washington St. on a sole-source basis for qty. 2 ea, DuraMAR 1000 (p/n: MAR-1001-03/-08) and the associated cable set. Only the specified militarized routers can be used as they are to be directly incorporated into existing systems. Parvus is the only known manufacturer of an off-the-shelf militarized controller that meets MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-801 and meets the minimum performance requirements. Use of any other router would require significant cost and engineering time to integrate it into the existing system and would jeopardize the schedule. Furthermore, the use of a different router poses the potential for differences in the data gathered during use. The NAICS code is 334290 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. FSC code 5895. Contract Specialist: Scott Dubuque, Code B31, NSWC PC, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001 (850) 234-4864, FAX (850) 234-4251 or email at scott.dubuque@navy.mil. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT information contained in the CCR database. The NSWCPC has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area. Therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available at https://www.fbo.gov. Vendors should regularly access this web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments.
