Description
Public Release of Information U.S. Flag Carrier Requirements 2011 Percy Amendment Certification Form Beijing NOX Requirements for Submission Notice of Solicitation for Submission of Contractor Pre-Qualification Information THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) is requesting submissions to pre-qualify construction firms for the construction of an Annex Office Building located on the New U.S. Embassy site in Beijing, China. The project is described below: Description: The project will consist of (1) relocating underground utilities, including water/sewer/storm water; (2) construction of a 7-story 7,400 m² office building, with an additional below ground level floor; and (3) upon completion of the Annex building, reconfiguration of office spaces in an adjoining office building. Order of Magnitude - Cost The estimated construction cost of this building is in excess of $40 million U.S. dollars. Drawings and Specifications The office building is being designed under a separate contract and therefore the construction RFP will include a fully completed set of drawings and specifications. 2. Project Solicitation The project solicitation will consist of two phases. Phase I - Pre-Qualification of Offerors This announcement of solicitation of pre-qualification submissions is Phase I. DOS will evaluate and rate the pre-qualification submissions based on the procedure and evaluation criteria set forth below. DOS may refuse to pre-qualify any Offeror receiving less than a satisfactory rating on any evaluation factor or sub-factor. ************************* SEE ATTACHED *************************
