- The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Contract & Procurement Division 3, Small Boat Product Line, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the DRY-DOCK and REPAIRS of CG 49423, a 49 foot Buoy Utility Stern Loading (BUSL) boat, stationed at ANT DULUTH, in Duluth, MN. This procurement is geo-restricted to contractor facilities located within 140 nautical miles from the vessel's home station, on navigable waterways and no more than 30 nautical miles off-shore. On or about 09 FEB 2011, a Request for Proposal (RFP), specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. This acquisition is being released as a total small business set aside and only certified 100% small business contractors may submit a proposal. The NAICS Code is 336611. The small business size standard is less than 1,000 employees. Only one award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror under this solicitation. A CD-ROM containing all applicable drawings is available free of charge to contractors upon request not later than three (3) days from the solicitation issuance. CD-ROM (s) will be sentvia FED-X. The CD-ROM (s) contain Windows compliant raster/vector formats (e.g.*DWF, etc.).
