- Statement of Work Background THIS IS A N OTICE O F I NTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Acquisition intends to issue a fixed priced contract on a sole source basis to Robert J. Berendt Associates, 4701 32 nd Street, NW Washington DC 20008 for STRATEGIC PLAN IMPLEMENTATION. This service is commercial as defined in FAR Part 12. The procurement will be processed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b). No solicitation exists for this requirement. Sources sought results determine Robert J. Berendt Associates is the only qualified contractor capable of satisfying this requirement at this time for The National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS). The North American Industry Classification System Code is 541618 Interested parties capable of satisfying this requirement may submit offers in the form of capability statements to the point of contact. Robert J. Berendt Associates is a small business. Point of Contact: Keith Savage, Contract Specialist, savagekei@od.nih.gov NOTE: TELEPHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses to this notice of intent are subject to evaluation and a determination by the government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the government. If no responses to this notice of intent are received by close of business on the established date, NIH intends to proceed by awarding a fixed price purchase order to Robert J. Berendt Associates, 4701 32 nd Street, NW Washington DC 20008. Mandatory terms and conditions of Federal Acquisition Regulations 52.212-4, and 52.212-5, will apply to the anticipated award wherever applicable.
