Description: REQUEST FOR QUOTE (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number F11PS00272 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. (ii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-47, effective January 12, 2011. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued. (iv) This procurement is being conducted on a full and open basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 311119, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Responsible women and women owned, service disabled veteran owned, and small disadvantaged businesses are strongly encouraged to submit quotes. (v) The Government intends to issue a FIRM FIXED PRICE supply contract for the following items: provide and deliver fish food for Hotchkiss National Fish Hatchery, Hotchkiss, CO, delivered 10 days after date of contract, in accordance with the included specifications (see the specifications the end of this document). There are seven (7) CLIN's (see the specifications at the end of this document). FOB Destination. (vi) The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items apply: The Government will award a firm fixed price supply contract from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose quote represents the best value to the Government, and whose quote meets the requirements of the solicitation. The following criteria apply: Offerors shall be evaluated and awarded based on an integrated assessment of the following: A. Must meet or exceed the acceptability standards for non-price factors (meets or exceeds specifications); B. Acceptance of delivery time; and, C. Price (offered prices shall be reviewed for fairness and reasonableness). Non-price evaluation factors, acceptability, acceptance of delivery time, when combined, are approximately equal to cost or price. (vi).
