- Special Notice: The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Reconditioning Center (NRC) is awarding a Purchase Order for the upgrade and repair services of the following equipment: 14 each Digital Pressure Transducer Sensor, Setra Model 470, ASN: S100-1A6A1 to Setra Model 470T, ASN: S100-1A6A1-1 to SETRA SYSTEMS, INC. Sole Source Justification: The Government only knows of one source, SETRA SYSTEMS, INC. Market research is the following: Multiple searches of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Small Search failed to identify any small business available to compete for this required repair and calibration service. Search parameters included a combination of NAICS code ‘334513' with key words: ‘repair, Setra, pressure sensor'; and just key words: ‘repair, Setra, pressure sensor'; and ‘repair, 470-T, pressure sensor'. A search of 'repair Setra model 470-T pressure sensor' and 'repair Setra pressure sensor' in GSA's eLibrary also returned no matches. On January 15, 2011, a sources sought was posted on FedBizOpps for 10 days and no responses were received from this posting.
