Item: COMPRESSOR STATOR ASSY 6. NSN - 2840-01-004-2179RV 7. PN - 748686 8. Description: 30.25" long by 30.2" wide by 3.313" high. Vanes andshrouds are comprised of either AMS 5504 or AMS 5613. This statorassembly contains 48 vanes that serve to direct compressor air flow tothe 7th stage blades. NEW MANUFACTURED MATERIAL SOLICITED. This acquisition is not a smallbusiness set aside. Qualified Source: UNITED TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION,EAST HARTFORD, CT.,06108-0968. 9. Total Line Item Quantity: LI 0001: Min 1, Max 290. Currentrequirement is 193 EA 10. Application (Engine or Aircraft) - TF33 Engine 11. Destination: SW3211, Tinker AFB, OK., 73145-800 12. Delivery: 193 EA on or before 31 Jul 2014 13. Qualification Requirements do not exist. Due to the complexity andcriticality of this part, only actual manufactures that havesuccessfully completed all testing required by the original companyresponsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfullycompleted all testing on items determined by the government to besimilar in complexity and criticality and can be considered approvedsources for this item. 14. Mandatory Language: Note AE-FAR 5 IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii), All responsible sources may submit acapability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be consideredby the agency. Duration of Contract Period: 31 Dec 2014 Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested,the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source ofthe concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation ofproposals or in the source selection process. A Determination by the Government notto compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. Specifications, plans ordrawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or notavailable and cannot be furnished by the Government. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services.
