- Intent to Sole Source: The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201, intends to sole source to Medrad, Inc., 100 Global View Dr., Warrendale, PA 15086-7601, telephone number 412-767-2400. Medrad, Inc. shall provide Stellant Syringe Specialty 200CC, Dual Syringe Kits. These kits are exclusively to the Medrad Stellant Injection Systems. This system is currently owned and used at the VAMC Detroit to inject contrast media for enhanced studies in CT diagnostic imaging procedures. This proposed contract action is for the purchase of the kits mentioned above, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from he General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposal contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than February 4, 2011 to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered note 22. No E-Mail request will be accepted.
