Description
N181811B001 (this replaces soliciation number N1818110001). This solicitation as well as any issued amendments will be available at the National Business Center website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) on or about 02/03/2011. A PAPER SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Telephone, fax, or email requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The National Park Service, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine intends to contract for onsite and remote support on an as-needed basis for hardware, software, Local Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) connectivity and Internet use to National Park Service staff, volunteers, and cooperators at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, 54 Elm Street, Woodstock, Vermont. The Information Technology (IT) environment includes, but is not limited to, computer hardware/software, laptops, monitors, file servers, blackberries, cell phones, printers, copiers, audio visual (AV) equipment, network, and computer/user account management for four organizations based at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park. The park is located in rural Vermont and the IT infrastructure is located in historic structures, visitor center and educational buildings on formal estate grounds. IT work will be conducted in administrative offices in historic buildings, sensitive historic resources, and public spaces and walking is required to access various parts of the IT infrastructure. The anticipated term of the base contract is from March 2011 through March 2012 with up to four one-year options to extend the terms and conditions through March 2016. It is anticipated that the options will be awarded to the contractor who receives the base contract without further competition. Offerors' proposal must include pricing information for base contract and all four option years. Detailed Scope of Work and evaluation criteria will be identified in solicitation package. NAICS code 541519, Other Computer Related Services, with a size standard of $25.0 million. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Three copies of each proposal must be received at Acadia National Park by March 4, 2011. This solicitation is a Best Value Request for Proposals and offers shall be evaluated on the responses to the evaluation criteria listed in the solicitation.
