- DRAFT - PWS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION The Air Combat Command Acquisition and Management Integration Center, (ACC AMIC) Langley AFB, VA is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for a potential requirement for Information Technology services with the capability, technical, design and analytical expertise to satisfy computer programming needs within ACC. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for a Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. AMIC is currently conducting market research to better define a requirement. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the government. The Government intends to procure through the NETCENTS portal unless market research proves another procurement method is more advantages for the Government. For the purposes of the RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code (541511) is applicable to this effort. If your firm has expertise in this area and can provide guidance/suggestions regarding the best course of action for procuring this requirement andis capable of providing the requirements described in this RFI, please provide a Capability Statement (please limit to no more than 10 pages total). The Capability Statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experience in contracts requiring similar efforts to meet the program objectives. We are seeking information and comments from industry on technical capabilities and acquisition strategy to include the following: (1) Company cage Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contract, telephone number and email address; (2) Any small business status (8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.); (3) Please describe any commercial-sector contracts you have performed for similar services and industry "best practices" (if applicable); (4) Please indicate with NAICS Code(s) your company usually performs under Government contracts; and (5) Please indicate which contract type is applicable for this requirement (i.e, FFP, CR, etc.) All companies are encouraged to respond and submit their capability statements to this office NLT 3 February 2011 @ 1200 (EST). Please provide all responses/packages via email to Ms. Veronica Johnson, ACC AMIC/PKA-A, 757-225-7714, veronica.johnson@langley.af.mil. The Government plans to consider all information submitted in response to this notice and use the internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies of documents posted on FBO will not be made available. The Government will provide email confirmation of receipt of your statements.
