The US Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (PEO IEW&S) in support of Product Manager Robotics and Unmanned Sensors (PM RUS) seeks responsible contractors interested in providing the US Army with SAR/GMTI capability integrated onto the Warrior-Alpha UAS platform in Afghanistan. This capability should enable U.S. and Coalition Forces to detect, locate, characterize, identify, track, and target forces in their battle space. The government requires three (3) fully integrated SAR/GMTI systems within the OEF theatre of operations. Each fully-integrated SAR/GMTI system will include support equipment required for initial assembly and set up as well as the command and control software and exploitation workstation needed for analysis. Integration of the SAR/GMTI payload will not require upgrades or modifications to the Warrior A platform and can be integrated on the aircraft system without moving the aircraft from its currently deployed location. Additionally, the SAR/GMTI payload should meet the following characteristics: Power consumption should not exceed 1.2 kW (Peak) Capable of producing 0.1 m resolution SAR images in spotlight mode Capable of producing 0.3 m resolution SAR images in stripmap mode Scan a large or small area for moving objects, detecting targets at speeds typical of vehicular movements (10 - 70 kph). Weight of onboard components should not exceed 115 lbs. Mean Time Between System Abort (MTBSA) should exceed 250 hours. Capable of maintaining an operational availability of 80% (Threshold), 90% (Objective). The responsible contractor shall be capable of developing, testing, and delivering three (3) SAR/GMTI payloads within 30/60/90 days of contract award, and one (1) set of associated ground support equipment, to include command and control software, and exploitation workstations specific to the Warrior-Alpha UAS within 30 days of contract award. Spares are required within 60 days of contract award for the system to be sustained. Responders are requested to provide: 1.Description of experience in deployment to the CENTCOM AOR, the contract the work was done under, and the Government POCs phone number and email address. 2.Description of experience in development, integration, operation, and repairs (hardware and software) of SAR/GMTI systems. 3.Cost/schedule requirements. No foreign nationals (NOFORN) need apply. Responses are to be received within ten (10) days of announcement. All information must be in writing or via e-mail. There is a 5MB email limit. You may forward responses to Product Manager Robotics and Unmanned Sensors, ATTN: SFAE-IEW-NV-RUS, Building 6006, 2nd Floor, Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005.
