- Clerical Support Unit - - D1 - remove reference to 24-hour day; remove climate controlled statement (if the vendor has employees in the unit, vendor manages the work environment and the OSHA statement should take care of that). - D.2.1.1 - removed awning dimension requirements and removed window dimensions, here is the new language: 7. Awning: The awning is optional but if one is provided it shall be a workable standard trailer awning. 8.Windows: Windows are optional but if provided they shall provide for natural lighting and air flow. - D.2.2, DOT inspection or CVSA inspection, remove the requirement to have both and requires one or the other (this change is being made on several solicitations to match what was done for the Water Handling, a work in progress on solicitations that have similar language); here is the new language: D.2.2.1 All Units offered and used under this Agreement shall be licensed and legally operable on all roads. All Units with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 10,001 pounds and greater shall have: a) annual USDOT certified vehicle inspection; or b) Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Inspection. (49 CFR 396.23) - D.21 - define double shift rate at 165% of daily rate GIS Unit and Communication Trailer - same changes that were made to the Clerical Support Unit as a response to one of the protest items: - D.2 - removed awning dimension requirements and removed window dimensions; here is the new language: GIS Unit, D.2.1.1 - 10.Awning: The awning is optional but if one is provided it shall be a workable standard trailer awning. 11.Windows: Windows are optional but if provided they shall provide for natural lighting and air flow. Communication Trailer, D.2.1.1 - 8.Awning: The awning is optional but if one is provided it shall be a workable standard trailer awning. 9.Windows: Windows are optional but if provided they shall provide for natural lighting and air flow. Communication Trailer, GIS Unit, Fuel Tender, Helicopter Operations Support Trailer, and Vehicle with Driver - D.2.2 was changed to make it consistent with solicitations issued in 2010; here is the new language: D.2.2.1 All Units offered and used under this Agreement shall be licensed and legally operable on all roads. This was changed in VIPR and requires no action by the Contracting Officers or Vendors.
