- Special Notice: 700th Contracting Squadron will conduct an Industry Day for the procurement of Expanded Communication Services on 14, 15, and 16 February 2011 at Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Germany. The Government will not pay any costs for travel nor any other costs as a result of participating in Industry Day. This notice officially begins dialogue between the Government and industry. Aside from determining customary commercial practices, as they relate to the technical requirements of the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, we are interested in having your feedback on our requirement. Specifically, we are looking for new and innovative ideas in regards to our requirements. In conjunction with the Industry Day, the Government invites prospective offerors (local sources only) to schedule one-on-one discussions with the Government. During these discussions prospective offerors may present a short capabilities briefing lasting no longer than 20 minutes. The presentation may include, but is not limited to the following: a. Company profile. b. Project experience/special areas of expertise. c. Unique business practices utilized in performing similar work. Your comments and recommendations regarding our Performance Work Statement are especially invited. Please submit your detailed comments to the Contracting Officer by e-mail margaret.altmeier@ramstein.af.mil and svetlana.allendorf@ramstein.af.mil no later than Close of Business (COB) on 07 February 2011. Attendance at the Industry Day is limited to 5 personnel per company. We appreciate your interest and thank you in advance for participating in the Industry Day. The agenda of the Industry day will be published after 07 February 2011.
