- This amendment issued to update the Performance Work Statement/Statement of Work and to answer the questions that were received after the site visit that occurred on January 20, 2011. Question 1 - Please refer to Section C.6.1 Special Qualifications in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Could you please define what certifications by regulatory agencies are required for this contract? Answer: The answer to this question can be found in the attachment named "Underground Storage Tank Program Tank Service Provider Certification Listing". All contractor personnel shall obtain this certification. Question 2 - But I don't quite understand the wage determination sheets and how they are applicable to us and if you are saying we have to pay our technician one of these wages or charge the applicable rate (which I can't even find their job titles listed). Please advise. Answer: The Wage Determination tells the contractor the minimum wage rates and fringe benefits it must pay laborers and mechanics. A contractor may pay its employees more than the listed rate, but not below.
