- DLA Energy: This is a bulk fuel requirement for F76, JP5, JA1, and JP8 fuels in the Atlantic, Europe, and Mediterranean (AEM) regions as well as a bulk fuel requirement for JP8 for the Northeast Greenland region. These requirements may be adjusted during the delivery period and be met by supplemental solicitations tied to Basic Solicitation SP0600-11-R-0033. Overseas Bulk Procurement under the AEM Purchase Program for Fuel, Naval Distillate (F76), NSN: 9140-00-273-2377, specification MIL-DTL-16884L, dated October 23, 2006, quantity 53,500,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1b, Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP5), NSN: 9130-00-273-2379, specification MIL-DTL-5624U, dated January 5, 2004, quantity 11,870,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1d; Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JA1), NSN: 9130-00-753-5026, product must conform to Defense Standard 91-91 / Issue 6 / Amendment 1, dated August 25, 2008, quantity 225,300,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1i; and Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8), NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, specification MIL-DTL-83133G, dated April 30, 2010, quantity 173,140,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1i. For Northeast Greenland the requirement is for Turbine Fuel, Aviation (JP8), NSN 9130-01-031-5816, specification MIL-DTL-83133G, dated April 30, 2010, quantity 9,387,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1j. The delivery period for the AEM items under Purchase Programs 1.1b, 1.1d, and 1.1i is from July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2012, plus a 30-day carry-over period. The delivery period for the Northeast Greenland item under Purchase Program 1.1j is from July 1, 2011, through August 31, 2011, plus a 30-daya carry-over period. This solicitation will be available on the World Wide Web at FedBizOps website, http://www.fbo.gov on or about February 9, 2011. Please be advised that a hard copy of the solicitation will not be available. If you intend to submit an offer, you are requested to return a completed and signed Offeror Submission Package to the DLA Energy Bulk Bid Custodian before the closing date and time. E-mail offers are authorized via BulkFuelsBidCustodian@dla.mil. Facsimile offers are authorized via 703-767-0488. The items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All responsible sour ces may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
