- Description
- 1. Background MSC is investigating the elimination of unused Sound Powered Telephone Circuits and voice amplified Interior Communication (IC) circuits on the T-ARS Class. Scope of Work: The purpose of this order is to develop an IC removal work item, an IC retention work item, and updated IC system diagrams on the USNS GRASP. All onboard IC circuits for navigation, weather reporting and monitoring and alarms will be investigated. Final Deliverables due 18 weeks after acceptance of the Order. A firm fixed price Order with reimbursable travel will be issued resultant of this RFQ. Award will be made to the low price, technically acceptable quote received in response to the RFQ. This acquisition will be restricted to companies classified as small business concerns under NAICS 541330 (Engineering Services). This will be a firm fixed price order. The solicitation resulting from this notice will be available ON OR ABOUT 09 February 2011. ONCE THE RFQ IS POSTED it will be available at www.msc.navy.mil. Click on "Contracts" (upper right hand corner of the screen), click on "Requests for Proposals", search for solicitation number N00033-11-T-9016, and follow the download instructions.
