- REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Risk Assessment for Transit Capital Projects TPM12 Agency: The National Transit Institute Date for receipt of proposals: March 3, 2011 The National Transit Institute (NTI) is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to facilitate its existing Risk Assessment for Transit Capital Projects course. In addition, NTI may periodically request proposers to edit/update the existing course materials. NTI's Risk Assessment for Transit Capital Projects course is a two-day course that is to provide an overview of the risk review process, as described by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Oversight Guidance (OP) documents, including particularly OP-40. Participants will learn the purpose of a risk review, necessary preparations required to undertake a risk assessment, principles of the methods used for risk assessment, and how such assessments are applied to the project management process. This course is intended for government managers, contract managers, designers, and builders who are undertaking a transit capital project larger than $300 million. However, please keep in mind the content of this course is scalable for small and medium projects. A copy of the complete Request for Proposal #1531 will be available on January 31, 2011 and can be obtained at http://procure.rutgers.edu under the category "active Bids". The login you must use is RFP1531 and the password is YUttcpdz (case sensitive). Completed proposals must be received in the Procurement Office of Rutgers University no later than 3:00 PM (EST), March 3, 2011.
