- Description
- This Sources Sought Notice is a Request for Information (RFI) only and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking information from organizations that possess the capability to: 1) develop a purpose-built mobile exhibit for use at conferences, symposiums, and other events. This exhibit will allow NGA to illustrate to mission partners and key stakeholders that NGA is a modern, technologically advanced agency that values the skills and diversity of employees, while also continuing to provide mission critical support to the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and other partners. The exhibit must engage the latest technologies from across several industries including GEOINT sciences, audio-visual display, and exhibit design and production all while remaining within budgetary constraints: 2) develop an Exhibit Center that has approximately 350 square feet and 4200 cubic feet designated for the installation of a multi-media communications capability. Additional space internal to the existing room could be negotiated through trades between the new system and the planned briefing theater and analyst workstation areas that currently exist. There are also opportunities to utilize wall space with the Exhibit Center for visual communication installations. The Exhibit Center, with an up to date multi-media exhibit capability, will continue the communications efforts by NGA at the new facility and present NGA as the modern, forward leaning agency that our mission partners have come to depend upon. The development of this updated capability must engage the latest technologies from across several industries including GEOINT sciences, audio-visual display, and exhibit design and production, all while remaining within budgetary constraints. At minimum, the technologies that should be investigated include: full immersion environment engaging real GEOINT data, services, and products including full motion video and immersive video, advanced, high definition sound and video, touch sensitive interactive opportunities to engage GEOINT, intuitive interfaces for output and input and exhibit architecture, materials and design consistent with the NCE and the NGA brand. Additionally, this new capability must be sustainable, and updatable by NGA staff without the need of external contractors. In particular, creation and loading of updated audio and video data must be within the scope of industry standards and existing service contracts at NGA in order to insure that messaging may be regularly updated. GEOINT data used in any way should be in standard formats and use standard software for display. The power requirements should be limited to 120 volt and network connectivity is restricted to existing NGA networks. NGA welcomes comments and information regarding the above criteria for the development of several exhibit options at different price points. Please answer the questions per the attachments: Attachment (1) Fixed Exhibit Center System and Attachment (2) Mobile Exhibit. If your company or organization has an existing commercially available or non-developmental item that meets these requirements, please provide literature or other information relative to the performance, maintenance, and physical characteristics (i.e. size, weight, etc.) of the product to the POC listed below. Classified material will not be accepted. Vendor Questionnaire: The purpose of this questionnaire is to obtain information from industry to assist in market research. Firms/companies are invited to indicate interest and capability to satisfy the above requirements by identifying the following: (1) Company name (2) Company Address (3) Company point of contact (4) Business size (5) NAICS Code/DUNS Number/CAGE Code (6). Please provide additional comments. See Attachments 1 and 2 for additional questions. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The information collected from this market survey may be used to support any future acquisitions and shall not be disclosed outside of the U.S. Government.
