- General Building 105L Upgrades, St. Louis, MO FSC: Z111 NAICS: 236220 Size Standard: $33.5 million Contracting Officer: Christopher L. Cox Description of Work The place of performance for this work will be at 4300 Goodfellow, St. Louis, Missouri. Work to be performed under the contract includes, but is not limited to: The corridor to the training rooms in building 105L is a dead-end corridor that exceeds the distance allowed by the safety code. The existing corridor will be extended to the north through classroom 3 as a one-hour rated corridor. This will entail the construction of a wall on the east side of classroom 3, as well as the demo of the current closet in classroom 3. The corridor should discharge outside through double door with panic hardware in compliance with current ADA & Fire safety regulations. Outside exit includes an ADA ramp & railings. Interior work will include carpeting, painting, suspended ceilings, & electrical modifications. This interior work is not throughout the entire building it is just centralized around the portion of classroom 3 that is being extended into. Contractor will provide all labor, materials and any other service in order to meet the completed design specifications and drawings. Contract Details This is a competitive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside procurement. Best Value Source Selection Procedures will be utilized to ensure proper contractor selection. That is, technical quality is significantly more important than cost or price. For this procurement, the Performance Information Procurement System (PIPS) will be utilized for the evaluation and selection of the most qualified contractor. The system entails six filters in order to select the contractor most advantageous to the Government. Estimated Construction Range: Between $100,000 to $250,000. Duration of project is 150 calendar days. Work will be performed at 4300 Goodfellow Blvd Bldg 105L, St. Louis, MO 63120. All potential offerors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov and at the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website at http://ocra.bpn.gov. Solicitation is expected to be posted to FBO on February 15, 2011. A pre-proposal conference will be held and will be set in the solicitation.
