Description
Solicitation Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. Solicitation W912PQ-11-T-0011 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-49. This acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110 with a small business size standard of $30.0 million. Only one (1) award will be made as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. The 105th Airlift Wing, Newburgh, NY will conduct a Yellow Ribbon Family Reintegration event on 05-06 March 2011 at a facility with activities to accommodate families and children. The hotel facility must be within Orange, Dutchess, and/or Sullivan County, NY. Any quotes from vendors outside of these counties will not be considered for award. Individuals attending this event will require lodging, meals, conference meeting rooms, and audio/visual capabilities. It is anticipated that there will be 200 attendees. Attendees will arrive early on Saturday, 05 March to register for the event. The event will formally begin at 7:00 a.m. on 05 March and end NLT 5:00 p.m. The event will resume on Sunday, 06 March at 7:00 a.m. and end NLT 4:00 p.m. Attendees will check out and travel home Saturday afternoon. Prices quoted for lodging and meals must be in accordance with the established per diem rates for the location or lower. Please see attached solicitation and Statement of Work for detailed requirements to accommodate this event. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government. Quotes will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106 by the contracting officer based on best overall value (price and other factors) to the government with price, amenities/activities offered by the hotel, and accommodations being factors. The final determination of contract award will be made by the contracting officer. Quotes are due no later than 2 P.M Eastern, 18 February 2011.
