- Synopsis only IFB will be published at a later date. Note: All responses to this Invitation For Bid (IFB) shall be mailed to Western Area power Administration, P.O. Box 3700, Loveland CO, 80539-3003. Physical Address for hand carried bids: Western Area power Administration, 5555 East Crossroads Boulevard, Loveland CO, 80538. Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region, has a requirement for a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and any other resource necessary to complete this project Beaver Creek-Fort Morgan West 115-kV Transmission Line Relocation. The work is located near Brush, Colorado. The principal components of work include installing 11 new weathered steel pole direct embedded structures and 4 single wood pole structures, complete with insulators, hardware, 477 KCMIL HAWK ACSS conductor, 3/8 inch overhead ground wire (OGW), and vibration dampers for conductor and OGW. Removal work includes removing 20 single wood pole structures. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237130 and the applicable small business size standard is $33,500,000.00. This procurement will be issued as a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. It is anticipated that the solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available for download at http://e-center.doe.gov/ or http://www.fbo.gov (click on the link under Additional Info:) on or about February 16, 2011.
