- Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy to host Industry Day to Highlight Transaction Processing Services Contracting Opportunities DLA Energy will host an Industry Day on March 9, 2011 at DLA Headquarters in Ft. Belvoir, VA, to inform vendors and contractors about upcoming DLA Energy transaction processing services requirements. • Aviation requirements: A mission-critical card-based fuel program that provides U.S. Government aircraft a means to obtain aviation fuel and related ground services. Program customers require a credit card to purchase aviation fuel and ancillary services at both contracted and non-contract commercial airports worldwide. • Ships Bunkers requirements: A mission-critical web-based fuel program that provides U.S. Government ships a means to procure bunker fuel and fuel related services. Program customers require access to a secure web-based order/receipt/invoice management system to purchase bunker fuel and ancillary services both contracted and non-contract commercial seaports worldwide. The event will be hosted by the Mobility Fuels Contracting Office and the Government Fuel Card Program Office, and will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at DLA Headquarters, Andrew T. McNamara Building, 8725 John J. Kingman, Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060-6221. The morning session will be a joint conference, and will include an overview of the new Aviation and Ships Bunkers transaction processing services requirements. The afternoon session will comprise of individual meetings where vendors and contractors will have networking opportunities, and may consult with representatives from the Contracting Office and Government Fuel Card Program Office. Opportunities are also available for one-on-one meetings. Meetings will be held in individual conference rooms, and each meeting will be limited to thirty (30) minutes per company. Contractor representation is limited to a maximum of two attendees. Due to parking space limitation, representatives are encouraged to carpool. All representatives must be United States Citizens. Attendees must email the following information for each company representative to Denise Thompson at denise.thompson@dla.mil no later than 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011: 1. Company's Name 2.
