Small Business Set-Aside
HUBZone

Description
Driving Directions to the UTTR UTTR Visit Request Form Solicitation Attached is the solicitation for the Gravel Hauling requirement for the Dugway Range. This is a 100% competitive HUBZONE set-aside per SBA. No quotes will be accepted if a company does not have the HUBZONE certification through the SBA. All questions concerning the HUBZONE certifications should be routed to the Small Business Administration. If you are interested in a site visit there will be one at the Dugway Range 10 Feb 11 at 10:30 AM. Be at the Dugway gate at least 30 minutes early to start the entrance process. Please be aware the roads at Dugway are rugged and contractors are advised to drive an off roading vehicle to the site. Please fill out the attached UTTR Visit Request document I have attached to the solicitation. These will need to be turned in NLT 08 Feb 11 by 1200 Mountain Time in order to have you cleared for access to the range. Below are driving directions to the range for the site visit. The gate you are looking for is the main gate for Dugway Proving Grounds. On the letter attached from the Det 1 Lt Col Keene, it gives directions on how to get there from Salt Lake. It says: There are two main routes into DPG: a. Route 1 (mountain pass suitable for small vehicles): From I-80 take exit 99 southbound toward Tooele on Hwy 36. Go south for approximately 21 miles to Hwy 199. Turn right on Hwy 199 and continue for approx. 24 miles through Johnson's Pass to the Dugway main gate. b. Route 2 (suitable for hauling purposes): From I-80 take exit 77 southbound. Go south on Hwy 196 through Skull Valley for approximately 38 miles to the Dugway main gate. Be aware that you will be traveling through open range country with horses and cattle free ranging. Also, the work being accomplished will be on the South Range accessed from Dugway Proving Grounds. This will NOT be taking place on the North Range (Oasis).
