Description
DLA Energy -MK intends to solicit on a unrestricted Full and Open Competition basis for the delivery of Liquid Methane, 99.9%, Type II, Grade B, Bulk, IAW Performance Specification MIL-PRF-32207 Propellant Methane dated 10 October 2006, Hazardous Material, NSN: 9135-01-239-8066, f.o.b. destination delivery of bulk Liquid Methane into contractor provided tank, on a temporary basis, at NASA Johnson Space Flight Center Houston TX. The Contractor shall provide all supplies, management, tools, equipment, labor, and transportation necessary for the delivery of Liquid Methane. The Government intends to issue a purchase order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The period of performance will be from 1 Apr 2011 through 30 Apr 2011. The total estimated contract quantity is 500 gallons over the period of performance. Offerors are required to have the capability to support bulk. Award will be made to the offeror determined to be the Best Value to the Government, price and other factors considered, using the Best Value Source Selection Process. The Request for Quote will be issued on or about 1 February 2011 and will be posted to the FedBizOpps web page (http://fbo.gov/). If you do not have Internet Access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed copies received directly from the requester will be acceptable.
