Description
GSA Public Buildings Service U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: NC City: Burlington Delineated Area: North: W. Webb and E. Haggard Avenue, East on W. Webb to S. Mebane Street South: I-40/85 between Huffman Mill Rd and S. Mebane Street (Alamance Road) East: S. Mebane St to Almance Road) ferom W. Webb Ave to 140/85 West: York road and W. Webb Street. South becoming Briarcliff Road, Shadow Dr., to Huffman Mill Road to 140/85 Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 6,795 Maximum Sq. Ft. (RSF): 7,814 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 38 Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: Ten (10) years Firm Term: Five (5) years Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced. Contiguous space on one floor. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. The offered space should not be located within the immediate vicinity of railroad tracks. Ease of access to and availability of public transportation and parking for visitors and employees. Offered space shall be located not more than the equivalent of two city blocks from a primary or secondary street serving the office. First consideration will be given to historic properties and locations within the Central Business District (CBD) of Burlington, NC. If none are available, non-historical properties will be considered in the CBD. All others within the expanded delineated area described below will be considered if adequate competition is not found in the CBD.
