- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS OFFICE SPACE IN INDIANAPOLIS, IN General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of its client, the Department of Labor - Wage and Hour Division (DOL-WHD) seeks to lease the following space: State: Indiana City: Indianapolis Delineated Area: North: North Street, East: East Street, South: South Street, West: West Street Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 1,905 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 2,095 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): One (1) reserved surface OR structured parking space for a Government Vehicle Full Term: Ten (10) years Firm Term: Five (5) years Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: Wage and Hour may not be located within the same building as any local, State, or Federal Law Enforcement Agency. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, handicap accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced. Offered space shall not be located in a flood zone. Notwithstanding the minimum and maximum ABOA requirements indicated above, space shall not exceed 2,409 rentable square feet (RSF). In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of any Federal Agency other than the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) authorized officers and employees. Expressions of Interest Due: 2/7/11 by 4:00pm CST Occupancy (Estimated): 8/1/12 Submission Requirements - Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include the following information at minimum (This is not an invitation for bids or a request for proposals): 1) building name/address/name of building owner; 2) location of space in the building and date it will be available; 3) one-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered (electronic, Auto-CAD); 4) ANSI/BOMA defined office area (ABOA) 5) rentable square feet (RSF) offered and rental rate per square foot, specifying services, utilities, and tenant improvement allowance included as part of the rental rate; 6) name, address, telephone number and email address of authorized contact; 7) in cases where expressions of interest are submitted by brokers/agents, evidence of written authorization to represent the building's ownership; 8) in cases where an agent is representing multiple ownership entities, written acknowledgement and permission to represent multiple owners for the same submission.
