Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about February 17, 2011 to Replace Roofs on Building 17 and Building 18, Project No. 528A6-11-610. The project work includes the following: Demolition work to include the removal and disposal of existing shingle roofing, flashing, gutters and downspouts, drip edge and any deteriorated wood sheathing, and fascia. New work shall include installation of plywood sheathing, fascia, 30# felt layer with ice & water shield at full perimeter, drip edge, gutters and downspouts, flashing, and 40 year shingles. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238160. The small business standard is $14.0 M. The cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Information regarding the site visits will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with any bid over $100,000. Performance and Payment bonds will be required if over $100,000.
