Description

This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations (RFQ), or a Request for Proposals (RFP). Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for any direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a request for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. The US Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC) Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG)-C4ISR, is performing a market survey seeking a potential offeror for the following commercial items for Product Director (PD) Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence Automated Reporting and Collection Systems (CHARCS) -- 315 (QTY) C-PSK's (NSN 5999-01-569-5345) (please see Attachment 0001- Statement of Work (SOW) to see what items make up a C-PSK kit); 416 (QTY) PVS 14 Camera Adapter; 416 (QTY) MOLLE digital camera camouflage pattern soft case; 416 (QTY) 2 GB SD Cards (PSF32GSDHC4); 416 (QTY) Pelican 1660 Hard Cases w' Foam Insert (PC1660B); and 416 (QTY) Avery-Dennison Portable Thermal Barcode Label Printers (M06039CF202). Similar items may be considered if the item(s) meet the same form, fit and function of that required. The period of performance will be 6 months from the date of award and the contract will be awarded on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis. Deliverable items are to be delivered to Field Office Fort Hood (FOFH), Texas for inspection and acceptance by the US Government, storage, final system integration and actual fielding. Please include the following in your responses: (1) Name of corporate point of contact, telephone number, full mailing address, and e-mail address (2) Specify business status (i.e. SBA certification or self-certified, etc) (3) Identify corporate capabilities to meet this requirement and past/current relevant performance information (4) Identify whether your company is a wholesaler, assembler, retailer, resaler, etc. Please keep responses to a maximum of 5 pages. The submission of this information is for planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items/services, or for the Government to pay for the information received.
